Goodbye Today: Ian MacEachern’s Photography in The Lost City
Speaker: Matthew Ryan Smith, Curator, Glenhyrst Art Gallery
Artist will be in attendance
Cost: $8 or $10 for 2 people per session, $40 for all 8 sessions

This talk examines how everyday vernacular photography helps us better understand changes to urban areas. Ian MacEachern's exhibition The Lost City is no exception. In documenting Saint John, New Brunswick during the 1960s and 70s, MacEachern questions the social costs of "urban renewal" and its impact on the city's spirit.
